I have tried long and hard to figure out how to transfer my blog subscribers from my original home on WordPress.com to my new place out in the country. After much searching and conferring, I am here to report that…well, it can’t be done.
So I am double-posting this invitation on my old blog address and at www.angelamcconnell.com in the hopes that it will go out to my much-appreciated, never-forgotten, and very-much-missed original subscribers. The 404 redirect should send you down the street to the new place.
I’ve got lots of new stuff coming up for your entertainment and amusement…interviews, reviews, and dinosaurs, oh, my! And stories…lots of stories.
In any event, I am sorry it took so long. I hope that you all have been well, and that life has been gracious to you. Hey there! It is sooooo hard to find you. I got lucky because the second time I clicked on this post in my blog reader, I clicked on “My Blue Screen” and got here instead of to the fancy 404 “Link not found” page. (I used to dream of getting the WordPress out of my address, but I’m not so sure now!) I hope all is well with you and yours. And I like the promise of stories! I know someone who’s sharing her novel a chapter at a time, but it’s hard to find stories on line. I don’t have a writer’s group or schooling, so it’s nice to have met writers here. I’ve always hoped we could help each other. See you later!
Hey, Ré! I’m so glad you found me! Sorry for all the mess. I think if I had it to do all over again, I would have stayed with WordPress and simply connected the blog to my website later. Live and learn. 🙂 But yes, thank you, everyone is doing fine. I hope things are well with you and yours too. I hope to be starting up Short Story Sundays again, so I can hopefully point you to some good stories online. I’ve been reading quite a few stories on the Kindle as well. Lots of good stuff. And I’ve got loads of stuff to blog about. Craziness. Anyway, glad to be counted among your writer friends. Please let me know if you ever need help or feedback or cheers. See you later! 🙂
Thanks, Angela! If you have an important lesson you’ve learned about writing, that hasn’t been covered yet in the comments to my “A Few Lessons Learned” post, I do hope you’ll share it. I learned a lot from the feedback I received on “Tatiana’s Dressing Room”, and I like the idea of it all being on my blog as a record for other fledgeling writers to find. I think it’s good for the info to be out there in as many ways as possible, because we all learn things and search for info in different ways.
